The Real Cause Of Ailments

By Emmanuel van der Meulen

Do emotional wounds stop our energy flow and clog up and create emotional blockages which manifest as ailments? In the likely event that this is the case, how far is the reach of this dynamic? Let's explore ailments, their origin and their reach. To what extent do ailments affect our society and humankind as a whole? Is there a correlation? Assuming there is, what is the correlation?

Let's stand back and look at ailments in the widest possible sense, starting at the beginning.

Say a person has emotional strain or say a person carries a deep seated belief. Where a person has a particular belief about themselves, their energy is held in their emotions and as a result, the flow is held back. The stinted flow heaps up and blocks the energy to a point where such congestion manifests in some ailment. Say in the legs or arms or shoulders: Or in some cases a person is overweight. And in other cases a person is underweight, like an anorexic or bulimic person. The overweight person would probably be self-protecting. And the anorexic does not want to be seen, an unconscious longing to disappear.

Thus our energy stops flowing evenly when any of a number of emotional wounds, small or large, are present. When our energy doesn't flow evenly and is stinted it manifests as ailments. And such emotional wounds are likely rooted in us for years, even from when as young as the toddler stage. Wherever you are in your life, go back to your childhood. From the behavior of those around you, you may not have felt loved or wanted. Or you may have been treated in a way that made you feel there might be something wrong with you.

So the smallest snag we encounter in our emotions, which arrests our energy flow, either in the short or long term, results in some ailments, as a result of the hitch which is really a blockage. For example, we can divide the body into several regions: left-side, right-side, legs, arms, torso, neck, shoulders, head, internal organs, sexual organs, upper body and lower body. An ailment within any of these regions indicates the underlying reason for the ailment. From the region, as a starting point, we can introspect to the actual cause of the ailment: Thus we can find the cause of the emotion that resulted in the restricted energy flow, which in turn resulted in an ailment. For instance, the left-side of the body has a particular meaning. And the right-side has yet another meaning. And so on. The legs have another meaning.

Thoughts or words like: 'This is exactly my luck' or, 'I need to prove myself' have their origins in deep-seated false truth beliefs. This interpretation causes our energy flow to be stinted or stopped or clogged and eventually results in the manifestation of an ailment.

With courage and wanting to heal ourselves, we can take it a part of the way and heal a certain ailment. And later when another ailment arises we can treat that one. But that equates to merely treating the symptoms.

There is another way. Where we go all the way! Where we uncover our optimal life, and live that as a way of life.
