Why You Should Get Treatment For Thrombosed Hemorrhoids As Soon As Possible

By Shannon Carvaldo

Today, hemorrhoids are existent in everyone. These are the natural cushions that are in anal canals of bodies. They are masses of tissue with blood vessels. There are many people suffering from thrombosed hemorrhoids today and are been talked a lot these days because of the severe pain it causes.

Two types of it are seen in people today. They may be internal or external. Excessive pressure on the anal canal region is the cause of both these situations. There are several reasons for pressure to be exerted on the region which include heavy coughing, lifting heavy objects, prolonged standing or sitting down, pregnancy, constipation, or diarrhea.

What separates these two from each other is the location that they are occurred. There will not be much pain, but will have heavy bleeding in the internal symptoms. The cushion may sometimes be seen coming out and again going back in.

But the noticeable, most painful instance is with the external situation although it will not bleed. Even if it bleeds, it will not be because of hemorrhoids but from the fissures. But when it comes to thrombosed hemorrhoids, there will be a formation of blood clots.

The strangulation of the vessels is the reason of the inflammation due to the clotting of blood in them. Looking at it will also be very terrible scene for people who may have not seen them before. Purple skin is seen usually but there are many cases where it has become reddish when thrombosed.

They feel like had lumps the size of peas when touched. They can be itchy and very painful. The swelling and the discomfort may be reduced by soaking them in some warm water for about 10 to 15 minutes. This situation will be a great drawback to your day to day activities also. Getting enough fiber in your meals will help ease the passing of stool.

There are over the counter remedies which have anti-inflammatory characteristics in the forms of creams, gels and ointments that can give patients some relief to their problem. Surgery will not be done on it unless it is very severe. The usual procedure is removing the clotted blood through an incision or removing the whole hemorrhoid.

But the problem that traditional treatments over this is that they only provide relief temporarily. People who are on these treatments often notice a comeback of the problem. The reason for it is that traditional remedies do not work from inside the body. They work only on the symptoms but not on the cause of the problem.

Over-the-counter medicines may often contain very strong ingredients that may sometimes make the condition worse. But there are, however, some remedies made of natural substances made of mostly herbs, which have been proven for their qualities for anti-inflammation. They can also act fast because these natural ingredients are absorbed very quickly into the blood stream. These treatments may also prevent thrombosed hemorrhoids from reappearing from time to time and may cure it permanently.
