Gallstones are crystal forms in your gallbladder as a result of accruals of too much bile. Gallstones indicate many chronic health risks. Large retention of bile in a person's gallbladder could indicate cholecystitis, a gallbladder inflammation.

Your body's normal performance will suffer when the gallstones obstruct the ducts of the body. Blocked ducts are unfortunately storage places for large amounts of bile which can be very poisonous to the body. When bile ducts are obstructed, that can lead to pancreatitis and cholangitis.

There are different methods available to remove a gallstone. Gallstone removal helps flush out your body and prevents any further damage to your internal organs.

There are different kinds of gallstones that can harm your body. Cholesterol stones vary in color from a shade of light yellow to a dark shade of brown. These oval shaped gallstones can get to be up to three centimeters long.

Pigment stones are generally from calcium salts in your spit. Compounds found in bile, such as Ca(CO3)2, and bilirubin comprise mixed gallstones.

If left alone, these gallstones can cause irreparable damage to your body which is why it's important to get a gallstone removal to prevent harm to your body. It's important to know what causes gallstones.

Being overweight can cause gallstones to form, and the risk of this happening increases when you're over age forty. Gallstone formation can come from not enough melatonin in your body. High cholesterol contributes to gallstone formation. If your body has low levels of melatonin, you are more prone to high cholesterol levels.

Your diet can also increase the risk of developing gallstones inside your body. A diet high in cholesterol increases the risk of getting gallstones. Focus on eating foods that are high in fiber, calcium, folate and magnesium. You can also include fish, wine, and whole grain food to your diet to avoid getting gallstones.

Once you have determined the cause gallstones you must be wondering what are the symptoms of gallstone formation?

When gallstones first develop, they are relatively harmless due to their small size. You will begin to notice them when they are longer than eight millimeters. Also, when the gallstone has reached the right size you will experience a gallstone attack at the right side of your stomach. Pain around the right shoulder accompanied by nausea is a common symptom of a gallstone attack.

You can have troubling gallstones surgically removed. You can ask your physician how to dissolve your gallstones with natural methods.
