It is the result of breeding the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the Bichon Frise.

This breed is known for being sweet tempered and fluffy in appearance. Because this is not a pure breed, no standard is set for these animals. They vary in some respects, but there are certain guidelines that people can consider when determining what this breed should be like.

The dogs are small in size. This makes them ideal for pet owners who live in small spaces and want to have indoor pets. It can also be a perk for people who are travel a lot in recreational vehicles or RVs. Fully grown, the dogs are typically between 12 and 13 inches on average. They have silky and soft coats with small waves. The standard coloring of the dogs: white and apricot, solid white, white and black, or white with tan and black markings.

People who want a guard dog should consider a different breed. These are designer dogs that are not aggressive at all. The majority of them are accepting, gentle and tolerant. For this reason, they make great pets for families and also in households where there are other animals.

The dogs have a lot of energy but should not be considered hyperactive. It is important that they receive exercise every day to release the extra energy and remain fit. Owners might consider daily walks, and also catch or other activities that are stimulating.

These dogs have naturally loving personalities. They typically form close bonds with their owners. These dogs crave companionship and need attention, which is why their best pairing is with attentive owners.

People need to do research to learn as much as possible about these animals. It is important that the small dogs, which are even smaller as puppies, get love and care in their home. Most puppies will weigh less than five pounds and must be handled with extreme care. Training may also be necessary, especially for indoor pets. As puppies, these dogs are quick learners and quite smart. It is essential for owners to be consistent to see the best results. When possible, training should be done at a young age to see the best results.

When it comes to choosing a dog, people should look for healthy dogs. They should show no signs of sickness, whether they are old or puppies. Breeders say that these animals are hypoallergenic, which is why they have the designer dog label. This means they are not as likely to create an allergic response in people who are sensitive to dander. Still, each individual is different and may have his or her own unique response to being around these dogs.
