Another thing you shouldn't forget is to check their ears and to clean them regularly, to avoid ear infections.

Feeding is important ritual for Siberian. They need to be fed a few times a day, always at the same time, with good quality food. When a new kitten comes to your home, you should feed him with the food he is already used to, at the same time it was given to him when he was at the breeder's home. If not, tummy problems might be expected.

Siberian cats are generally healthy, with a few known issues. Your breeder should issue the certificate and give you some additional info. Siberians mature slowly, and they are fully grown at the age of four or five. Their life expectancy is between twelve and fifteen years, if fed with good quality food and kept in order.
