Discouragement does not have to overwhelm you even if things do not look good. Stay hopeful and this will help your child get through his or her illness.

You may want to see a counselor who specializes in this sort of thing. He or she can help you get through the rough spots. Ask them what they think are some good coping skills as you search your heart and soul for answers. Answers may not make sense at the time why this is happening, but faith will get you through it.
