Some Things About Your Recently Deceased Pet You Should Know

By Jose Rogers

The universe works in mysterious ways, and many people believe in fate, or the idea that there is a path that is preordained for us that we are destined to follow. Some people believe this can also pertain to a recently deceased pet. If nothing else, this can be comforting to the heartbroken owner who may be having trouble dealing with the loss.

Although it may seem more like you were the one who chose this animal and it is by your decision that it is in your life, the truth is often more similar to the other way around. Even though it may not seem like these pets have any choice in the matter, there maybe more going on than you see. Either way, by letting them into your life, they are also letting you into theirs.

A lot of people know that animals have a sort of sixth sense about our emotions. Many have experienced this when they are sick or depressed and their dog or cat will nuzzle up to them or seem more protective and want to please you than usual. It can be comforting to know that even in death, the spirits of these animals wish to comfort us.

Pets also have a sixth sense about love and affection. Those of us who put a lot of love and kindness and care into our animals can take comfort in the fact that these creatures knew all along we loved them. They also still know in the afterlife, and hope you know they love you too.

You do not have to feel like you are all alone even though your house may be a lot quieter after your best animal friend has passed on. Even though he or she is gone in a physical sense, you have a wealth of memories that can keep their spirit close to you. Because of how much they loved us in life, their spirit will often follow us throughout our lives.

When your animal buddy is still there in your heart and mind, you can continue the relationship that you treasured so much while the creature was still alive. It takes an open mind to be able to hear it. If you really want to share experiences with them still, you can.

One of the things that our pets want us to know once they have passed on is that we should not blame ourselves for the way that they came to the end of their life, no matter what it was. We all make mistakes, and even the most loving animal owners can sometimes have them die under their care. Knowing that we shouldn't blame ourselves alleviates a lot of unnecessary guilt.

A platonic relationship between an animal and a human is a very special and magical thing, and a lot of times the people will love the pets more than themselves. The reverse is also often true for the pets, with them ending up caring so deeply for their human. That is why this is a beautiful relationship that is sad to see broken apart by death.
