The puppies are curious and playful naturally in terms of their temperament. They should allow themselves to be held and be willingly approached. There are few factors that affect their temperament. These factors include training, socialization, and heredity. Therefore, providing adequate socialization to the pups at an early age of their lives is important. Sounds, people, experiences, and exposure to different sights should be included in the socialization.

Generally, pugs are healthy dogs although some health problems should be expected in some situations. It is essential to expose them to little exercise daily. If they are not entertained, there is a possibility of them becoming comical and playful.
