People who love dogs usually have hard time deciding what breed to keep. This is because each breed has its own positives and negatives. Australian Labradoodles shed little hair, and are intelligent which means they are quick learners. They are also affectionate and kind to people as well as other pets. They are playful and when like participating in canine sports. These are some of the reasons which make them a good choice for new owners.

Dogs have their negatives and their positives, some of the negatives about the labradoodle are as explained below. Just like any other animal and human beings the labradoodles have a risk of suffering from hereditary diseases, thus making them require high medical attention. They are mischievous in nature due to their high level of intelligence. They require high cost of maintenance.

According to history, the emergence of this breed dates back in mid 1950s when a Labrador retriever was crossbred with a poodle. In those days few people knew about this breed hence they were not that popular. Today, they are popular because most people know about them since they are a designer breed. Today, they serve several purposes as opposed to the beginning when they mainly served as assistance dogs.

Puppies born of the same mother tend to look slightly different from one another but they usually inherit some looks from the parents. Also, they inherit behavior of their parents. The labradoodles usually come in different sizes, colors and heights, but how a puppy turns out in future depends on certain factors. Some of these factors include; training, generation and how the parent bred it.

Dog training is a necessity that labradoodles should not be exempted from. Training is necessary to enable them fit in family settings. They must be trained to avoid excessive barking. To achieve this, the training must be started when they are still young. The trainer must ensure that the dog understands that unnecessary barking in not tolerated. Their understanding of this command is much better when they are still young compared to when they are older.

Most people seem to miss the fact that labradoodles are not natural watchdogs. This is not to mean that they will not raise alarm when suspicious activities occur in their surroundings. Owners should expect them to raise alarm when a stranger is about. They are usually quick to socialize with strangers once they have been introduced.

Caring for a puppy is pretty easy provided a person knows what should be done. When getting a puppy ensure there is someone around for it due during the first week of arrival. This is to prevent them from feeling alone and bewildered after leaving their littermates and mothers. Ensure the transition is smooth and easier for them to cope with.

All the important consideration factors when purchasing a dog should be observed. This means that one has to ask every necessary question and demand to shown all vital information. This includes asking to see the puppy while together with its mother. One must avoid being shown images of the mother dog as proof. It is only a scammer who will try to sale a puppy they have physically shown to the buyer or provided authentic information about.
