The Ultimate Guide To Buying A Cavapoo Dogs

By Scott Scott

Puppies are the best companions and can offer outstanding company after a long day at work or school. There are so many breeds that you can consider when buying a pup. Cavapoo dogs have been classified among the best breeds. If you have been searching for the perfect pooch to give you company, this breed will not disappoint. These little fluffy pups are so cute and adorable. You just cannot resist them.

These pups are also commonly referred to as Cavoos, Cavadoodles or Cavoodles. They are not pure breeds as they have been crossbred between Poodles and Spaniels. Since both parents are outgoing and social, the puppies are also very playful and friendly. They are very famous because of their home-oriented characteristics. These pups are beautiful, with small round heads and large watery eyes. Their coats are curled and silky thus very soft to touch. Cavoos are not big dogs as they weigh about 12-25 pounds, making them suitable for homes.

The friendly nature of Cavadoodles makes them very convenient for a home setting. They are however not guard-pets as but they do not have much tolerance with visitors and strangers. Whenever a new person visits, they tend to be so keen, but they do not become aggressive. They are thus not violent puppies.

Cavadoodles are very affectionate to children, and they can create excellent relationships with children. However, this is dependent on how you tame the pups when they are young. Nevertheless, you should not leave the pup alone with your children. This is because kids can be so nagging and can easily annoy the pup, which can become a bit aggressive.

Exercise is one of the daily needs of Cavoos. Their energy needs are quite high thus they should be exercised at least 60 minutes every day. They are playful pups thus they can easily achieve their energy demands indoors so long as they are kept busy.

If you are not ready to groom the puppy, you must not purchase it. The cavapoo will need grooming from time to time because the hair grows rather quickly. Typically, the pups are trimmed every four to six weeks to prevent matting and dirt buildup. Their nails, eyes, and ears should also be groomed regularly. These pups tend to have stained-eyes problems. To avoid this, clean the eyes of the puppy using tear stain-remover wipes regularly.

The most important thing that you must consider is the breeder of the Cavoodle. Ensure that you find a reputable breeder and visit him/her physically. Check whether the breeding conditions are commendable. You can even visit local puppy shows or ask for recommendations from your family and friends. This way, you can find a good breeder.

Diet is something that most people tend to ignore. However, this is even more important than all the other factors. If the diet is not good, the pup can develop diseases and even die. Therefore, it is advisable to follow the diet that has been recommended by dog specialists to avoid allergic reactions.
