Handling mountain canines require maximum teaching for them to grow up with a good behavior around persons. It is recommended that the training should be done 2 to three months after being born; this is when they are puppies. Coaching can be much gentle and at the same time firm. One technique of coaching is the use of food; this is advantageous because the pooch gets rewarded, and thus it participates obediently.

Command such as sitting down can be done during meal time. The food must be held overhead and behind the head of a dog. If it is a puppy, it will lose stability and sit down. This is strengthened by the command sit. Ones the dog executes the orders given it should be rewarded with the meal. In contrast with puppies, the older dogs rarely lose balance hence the trainer needs to apply pressure in front of the hip bone for them to sit.

To teach a dog to sit down, one requires a bowl of food. The food is held above and behind the head of a canine. This is done while commanding the hound with voice to sit down. Since this drill will make the dog to lose steadiness and sit, the canine should then be rewarded with food for obeying the orders, repeating this method several times while feeding the hound it may enhance the memory of the puppy and eventually it will follow this command every time it hears the word sit.

For satisfactory results, the hound should be fed well observing the balanced diet. This ensures that it grows healthy and strong and may not be frequent to diseases. It should not be overworked and left to regain energy after hard exercise. One should train a dog like a leader rather than an ally since treating it like a friend may not provide good results.

They may be distanced from sweets mostly chocolate and proper study should be done on the time of food to be fed. The reason being that some foodstuff may tamper with the digestive system of the animal. Additionally, unlike humans they must be allowed to relax after eating to allow proper digestion, all this is for the well-being of the canine.

They must be fed more than ones a day and given proper hygiene to avoid getting diseases. After meals they must be allowed to rest, and they should not be allowed to work out after feeding. With the guideline teaching your pet can be easy.
