By Michelle Bailey

Pets are quality and reliable friends to a family, and n o matter how heated arguments are between the members, they will find reasons for coming together. Pets are loyal, cooperative and smart, trained to live in houses and behave in ways which are pleasing to man.If you have not yet thought of having a pet, the bengal cats are an excellent type so; here is some information about them.

These cats are a hybrid type of creatures, that is, they came as a result of mating of different parents. The origin was after mating of a wild small sized leopard because they belong to the cat family with a quiet type. The act was successful and it introduced an animal later proven safe for home use.Further inheritance of traits was by mating the breed with the normal cats.

The most obvious reason why most families do not own a pet is to avoid a scary creature in their lives.Their appearance is the first trait that a homeowner will consider.Kids will prefer the animals more hence, should be kept panic free. This type of cat differs in size, weight, eye color and the features of the outer covering. These are to give you a chance to get a nonhuman friend.

Expect to see different colors in these animals. For example, the fur can have horizontal stripping or spots making them more distinct. The stripping is usually in different colors depending on the ancestry. There are;brown, snow, silver and melanistic. The spots are large and the color of their eyes is also diverse.

It is evident that hybrids have great manners. They are brilliant and will act in ways different from a normal cat.The most notable trait is their water intake, they take in too much and will not dip use their heads to take it from the bowl but dip paws and lick instead.Their best playing area is the flooded thus suitable when swimming.

These adorable creatures are excellent hunters. They love water and will constantly be in search for water creatures. For the homes with fish tanks, it is important to keep the cats away from these because they overturn the containers trying to catch fish. Overcoming the tendency of hunting is by training the cat on the right manners from a young age.Monitor their movements around the house.

Bengals are very active and associated with the never tiring group of animals. They do not easily get enough of play and will shift from place to place in search of a new act. They are known to look down on other animals, snatch good looking items and flee. They mark their territory and will not welcome new animals.

The well being of the cats is your responsibility.Although they are intelligent, they lack information on mannerisms and diet.Proper care is by giving healthy and enough foods;clean sleeping area and frequenting their health status.Show them love, and they will reciprocate it.They are observant and learn the untaught but routine acts like closing the door.
