Other names used to refer to these hybrids are goldenoodle, curly retriever, and groodle. Some sources indicate that the word goldendoodle was first used in 1992 in reference to labradoodles. The name noodle replaces doodle. This mixed breed is gotten by crossbreeding a poodle with a golden retriever. Puppies born of the two normally possess crossbreed vigor connected with all crossbred species.

Like other crossbreeds, groodles are gaining popularity so first unlike indigenous breeds. There are usually variations in sizes as in most breeds. The variations are because there are currently no multi-generational pups resulting from cross breeding two goldendoodles. Individuals with nut allergy can found them helpful as they are very good at sniffing out peanuts in food. They get along with most people and are very social. They are poor at serving as guard or watch dogs. Buyers must not expect any security role from them or else they will be in for a big disappointed.

Goldenoodles are not just suited to living in apartments because they do much better in spacious and confined yards. They can be raised in any setting including country, suburban, and city environments. A goldendoodle is happier when with people leaving them for too long can make them suffer from anxiety. Proper training and socialization is required to root out shyness and fear they are known for.

Pet owners must understand clearly that canines do not take the same quantities of food. The quantity consumed within a single day is depends on build, activity level, size, metabolism, and age. Another determinant is quality of food. It is common sense that good foods satisfy dogs quicker hence little is consumed. Their foods have to be measured to be sure they eat the right amount.

They are a perfect match for both timid and first time owners. Training a curly retriever is very easy given their intelligence reputation of being fast learners. Like most dogs they require early crate training in order to avoid destructive behavior. They should be provided with treats and toys to keep them busy. Another method that works best is keeping the radio on when going out.

To finish, potential buyers are warned against getting their puppies from puppy mills, pet stores, or irresponsible breeders. They should instead buy from trustworthy breeders who do testing of their breeding stocks to make sure none of them has genetic diseases. Canines with any disorder of the genes have higher chances of passing then to their puppies. Always pick a puppy with reliable temperament and if possible ask to see at least one of its parents.
