Dogs of the cavachon breed are ever great pets. You will however need to be aware of their predictability, their character and cache. A breeder strives to make improvements in the present breed. Some of them are not interested in money. Breeding is an act of love for dogs. The breeder should make new breeds from healthy parents. They should avoid weak and sick dogs at all costs. They should take into consideration the health history of the parent. They should not breed from dogs that had a previous illness even if the illness was not a genetic one. They take this seriously to reduce the number of weak and even sick dogs. Choose a puppy that has been there for six months and above. Do not forget to ask for the vaccination status of a dog.

Make sure that you choose a breeder who strives to improve his breeds and who frequently tests his stock in competitive venues. He will obviously assure you that he will make a good quality breed for you. He should also provide you with references that you need. Remember also to ask him for the veterinary reference.

Some of them will ask personal questions. They may even ask for permission to visit your home and meet your family. They all wish that their animals will be taken care of in responsible homes. They will always take their time to make sure that their dogs will be taken care of.

Before finally handing the dog over to you, they will offer other important information. They already know the dog clubs that they can link you with. They are resourceful in matters of breeding, raising, veterinary care and the training it requires.
