Choosing To Buy Cavachon Puppies For Sale In Your Area

By Nancy Gardner

With so many breeds out there it can be hard to choose one. There are those the only like rescue dogs and other only buy from breeders. There isnt one way to be a pet owner. It depends on you and what you like. Whats important is actually being a caretaker for the one you choose to bring home.

There is a thing called a designer dog. These are not pure breeds. Cavachon puppies for sale in MN are a mix of a Bichon Frise and a Cavalier King Charles. Together they have combined a wonderful and cute little pup.

For those that like small dogs this is one to consider. Fully grown they will measure only about twelve or thirteen inches in height. This is a plus if you live in an apartment or another place that doesnt have much space for a large pet. Traveling is easier with a dog that can easier fit into a carrier.

They are quite good looking. Shiny wavy hair that comes in white, tan, black, and a mix of these colors. They supposedly are hypoallergenic which is good. There are some cases that people with dander allergies have had reactions though.

This is not suitable to be a guard dog for two reasons. They are small and they aren't aggressive. This is a good option for a pet for a child. Usually they would get along with any other species of animal that you have in your home.

Since theyre small, it is easy to give them the exercise they need. Let them run all over your back yard or go for a walk. The have lots of energy so playing games will tire them out. For a dog, exercise is also a mental stimulant that they need.

They require a lot of tenderness and attention from their owners. They can grow to be close with their human friends. They could be loyal companions to have. When they still are young you need to be careful because they are so small. So treat them gently.

When you buy a puppy, look for one that doesnt have any obvious signs of ill health. Clear eyes, clean pink gums, a shiny coat are all good signs. Check if the pup is energetic and curious. Like other small breeds, they tend to suffer from ear infections and eye problems. This is due to the hair scratching their eyes and growing inside their ears. A weekly cleaning of the ears and maybe using ear solution is a good preventive measure. Consult a vet if you notice any signs of infection or abnormality.

If you buy one of these breeds, know that they have lot of hair. That means you need to keep it clean and brushed because if it is not regularly maintained, it will become matted. They also do not cause allergies to most people. That is a major plus when choosing to buy one. Since they need to have proper care for their hair, be prepared for the grooming bills. You could also do it yourself and just have a groomer do the trimming a few times a year. Being a dog owner is not always easy. It requires dedication and commitment because they become as close to you as any other family member.
