Understanding More About Cavachon Pups And Their Breeders

By Jeffrey Reynolds

When some people come across the term Cavachon, they do not understand what it is. Cavachons are simply puppies bred from two different breeds mostly from Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise. The combination of these two breeds results to lovely puppies with admirable qualities that most buyers want. Although this breed has been known for about fifteen years, Cavachon Pups breeders are many today.

These types of dogs are known to be intelligent, interesting, playful and gentle. They are good in making friends with human children and most of such puppies adore pampering. However, buyers should know that these puppies do not like being left alone. They expect a lot of attention and love from people. Older adults find these puppies perfect companions because they are easy to maintain and their loyalty is unquestionable.

In many instances, most Cavachons are usually hybrid dogs and frequently possess different characteristics. When it comes to the coat, there are some that you will find having long coats while others have short ones. They have different colors, and this depends on the ones a customer chooses. Some of these colors include; peach, black, white and black among others. If there are people who find it hard dealing with allergic conditions, they are encouraged to possess some of these pups.

After the puppies are old enough, they are separated from their mothers. This helps the puppies to be able to socialize with others. Also, when the pups can socialize, they can as well be able to adapt quickly to the new homes. The separation in most cases takes place between 7-14 days. If the puppies get used to being next to their parents, then it can be very hard to sell them out later when they are so big.

Nowadays when you have adopted a dog, it is like you have just brought a new member to the family. You, therefore, need to treat them equally. You need to show them that they require having a hierarchy. Those dogs that you adopted earlier would be the ones to lead the pack but the new one required time to discover the habitat then take the lead when others come.

If you are looking for puppies that are affectionate and gentle with children, Cavachons are the right choice for you. They do not often bark, not unless someone strange has come to the territory they protect. In some places, these puppies are referred to as efficient and small watch dogs. They are non-aggressive, and they can alarm you in case of anything.

These puppies can weigh about 10-20 pounds and be 12-16 inches high. Most breeders do not like keeping the large puppies, but they enjoy keeping and selling the smaller breeds. Small dogs are known to be good companions and suitable for those who live in smaller apartments.

Although these puppies are healthy, they may develop some problems with their skin, hips, and heart. If they are not properly maintained and regularly checked, they can develop severe ear infections. Besides love and attention, these puppies require good feeding to keep them playful and energetic for occasional walks.
