They certainly enjoy playing outside the yard and running around and so it would be quite best to keep them there during daytime just to prevent any accidents they may cause when inside the house. Though, this can be quite risky so checking them from time to time is a must.
Placing them inside the crate sure would be helpful. But, make sure not to put them there for the entire day because they certainly would not like feeling jailed. Place them there for few hours only every day.

But, the fact that these hair do not shed that often is a great news for those who likes them staying inside their owners home. Grooming them is not that hard and needy too, owners could do weekly checking of their body just to ensure they have no infections.
