Read This Before Getting A Miniature Schnauzer

By Ronald Miller

Dogs are famously known to be a mans best friend. I could not agree more, having three dogs myself. When well taken care of, can truly be a great joy. The feeling of coming home knowing that someone is there waiting to see you, and will welcome you with lots of kisses and a tail that just can not help but wag out of excitement, can not be compared. There is nothing like it. There are many breeds of dogs to choose from, some more compatible for certain types of people and their preferences more than others. You have to do proper research before getting a dog to avoid disappointment. See if you are compatible with a miniature schnauzer Vancouver.

This breed originally hailed from the beautiful country Germany, but is now a very popular choice of breed to keep as pets to dog lovers everywhere. They stay highly ranked in the popularity polls, especially in the U. S. It is so hard to resist such a cute puppy.

Be careful when you look at them, you might want to buy a puppy right then and there. They have this cute mustache that hangs around their nose, and an angry expression on their face that is always there. Their hobbies include bouncing everywhere, looking silly while they do, you can not help but laugh. You can probably tell from their name, they are quite small in size.

You can find mini schnauzers bouncing around very often, as this is one of the things they love to do. They bark really loudly, too. Do not underestimate them. These cute dogs are some of the smartest breeds to exist. Jed, a famous dog trainer, can confirm this. He also adds that they are one of his favorite breeds to work with because he does not have a hard time training them, as they can follow instructions easily.

Though their ears are tiny, their hearing capabilities are no joke. They are able to hear frequencies that humans are not. This makes them good guard dogs. Oftentimes, you will see them paired with a German shepherd in a farm for teamwork.

Anna, a long time dog lover, has tried taking care of many types of breeds throughout her life, but says mini schnauzers are her favorite. She recalls a time when she would get sad, her schnauzer that she named Troy, comes up to comfort her and gives her a very comforting cuddle session. She also mentions that Troy gets along with everyone in her family and friends, though it may take time for him to trust them when they first meet.

They can easily adapt to any environment as well, whether that is a large house with a wide backyard, or a tiny studio apartment. Just make sure to give them the right amount of exercise so they do not become bored, or they might become destructive, and nobody wants that.

As for maintenance, it is recommended that you get them to a groomer every eight weeks on average. If you plan on keeping their hair long, you gotta brush it on the daily. When they grow old, they might suffer from eye or heart problems.

Dogs, when taken care of and trained correctly and timely, can provide you happiness for a very long time. What people often forget is that getting one is a huge commitment. In the case that you that you are not ready yet, save yourself the hassle and wait until you are.
