A house will always have a particular smell with it. Some people will simply dismiss the smell that will greet them in certain homes. The problem however is when the corners and other areas in the house will have a really foul smell. The quick remedy of most homeowners is to use the deodorizers available in the market. There are others who choose to use the natural odor remover however.

There are different chemical treatments available in the market which can fight bacteria. These are known to cause a lot of the stinking smell in different places. The problem though is that these are often harmful. Using these may have different effects on people. It is advisable not to surround the house with too many chemicals because of the potential harm they bring. Going for the natural treatments however would be safe.

When it comes to the economic perspective, these options are also opted for by many. There is no need to spend too much for these are often found within the house. For anyone who is manning a household, anything that means spending less is always a good option.

People may not notice it but baking soda can do so much more than being an ingredient to baked delights. This can be used as well to neutralize the smell of almost everything. The smell of urine soaked rugs, refrigerators, trash bins, carpets and other things will be eliminated.

The bathtub or reams would also have an awful smell with it. Making sure that the bacteria will be eliminated, homeowners could use boiling water for it. Pouring it in will make sure the bacteria are eliminated. It also gives a good advantage for there is very little effort and money involved.

Most people also love to keep lemon in their counters. It is simply a delicious alternative to juice mix. Apart from that, the smell is also very inviting. Leaving a couple of slices in corners would give a refreshing and tangy smell lingering in the kitchen. The juice could be used as bathroom spray too.

Fabric conditioners are a little expensive as well which is why most people choose to use borax instead. The lingering scent in linens can overpower the smell of detergent thus, borax could be used to neutralize it. If it is left to dry under the sun, the refreshing scent of clean will be left in the linens.

Vanilla make food more aromatic but it can also be used for the house. Leaving a dollop of this on top of the light bulb is a less expensive way to make the house smell good. This would make the rooms in the house smell like freshly baked goodies all the time.

It is also important to make sure that there are no damp areas in the house. Cleaning is always the best natural odor remover. When there are no dirty corners, the least likely that bacteria will thrive. Some things would naturally leave some smell but natural airing will release the scent. When there is a strong smelling food or item, turning off the heating or cooling unit and opening the windows work best. It will eliminate the odor and replace it with fresh air.
