Taking Dogs to Work

By Allyson Westcot

A new report from the Virginia Commonwealth University appears to sing the praises of pets on the job. Workplaces are the most nerve wracking places there are, at least for a few individuals. So bringing a dog to work might possibly be able to help ease workday stress, which raises productivity and general health, also. On the days in the study when employees brought their pets, their levels of stress were noticeably lower and job satisfaction higher than when the puppies stayed at home.

All this goes to show just how attached folks can be to their dogs. People who failed to even own pets were regularly seen asking their fellow employees to take their dogs out for walks on breaks. Even non-pet owners wished to take part in the action!

If taking a pet to work can so notably lower levels of stress and make the day more agreeable, it's no wonder that so many people love to take their dogs with them. Pet lovers take their pups everywhere from runs to the market to long holidays. And those who work a lot frequently play hard, as well. They need dog products that are designed to keep their dogs safe and happy while on the go with their owners.

One of the best things a loving pet owner can do is ensure that all dogs are secured safely while traveling, whether small distances or long. A snug and secure dog harness and seat belt restraint can keep your dog secure in a moving car without making your pet feel too constrained.

Your pet does so much for you each day, like lowering your stress and making you cheerier, often without you even realizing the physiology at work. Care for your dog with a top-notch dog harness and seat belt restraint to return the favor, and you and your pet can go and play anywhere easily and safely.
