Choose The Cutest Puppies Temecula Offers

By Ted Fitzmaurice

Puppies Temecula residents can buy come from either professional breeders that will provide dogs that are either pure bred, or from the shelter. Pups bring so much joy to one's life because they are such innocent lovely animals. One can choose to obtain a mutt of unknown mix breeds at the shelter or one can choose to go to a breeder and obtain a fully certified pure bred pup.

Pups are born after about a two month gestation period. The mother dog at the time will be protective and maternal. These pups are about the size of one's palm and their fur will be matted and their eyes will be closed. They will immediately start to feed from their mother. They sleep a lot and they shall feed as much as possible because this is the time when they grow the most.

It is also a good time to ensure that the pup receives training. If not one has a little mischievous monster on their hands that won't listen to the owner. The pup needs to be allowed to socialize with other dogs so that they develop good social relationships with future dogs that may be introduced to the family.

The mother will start to wean the babies after about five weeks from birth. She will slowly introduce them to solid food by regurgitating partially digested food. The softened food will be soft enough for their delicate little stomachs. Once their teeth become a little stronger she will allow them to start eating some of her food. At this stage she won't allow them to feed from her at all.

He needs to learn how to walk on the lead without pulling the owner's shoulders out of joint. He will learn how to sit and to come when it's called. He will know how to stay. This training should take place while the pup is in his first year because that is when their brains are being developed.

They are still in the cute stage at the time and everything they do; even chewing on everything is laughed away. It is at this stage that one should send them for training. If the training starts when the dog is very young, it will learn how to socialize with other dogs and to recognize who his master is.

As he gets older, he will need to learn how to obey his master and the basics will be taught such as how to sit and wait for commands. The puppies Temecula breeders offer are wonderful creatures with their own personalities and characters and having one of them is like having a new child in the household bringing laughter, love and joy.
