It's important to carry treats along with you for the first couple of weeks of house training to reward your dog quickly upon eliminating in the proper place. If you wait till you have gone back inside, your puppy will usually have forgotten the great deed.

Whenever your puppy has gone 2-3 months without having an accident, you could consider him successfully housebroken.
