It is said that the people of Japan and also those the people of China use Koi tattoos to symbolize love, good luck and the abilities to get past obstacles more easily then others may. The Koi fish is simply a legendary symbol among these cultures. There are countless legends, stories and myths associated with the Koi fish and these designs. The myths of the Chinese state that that these designs stand for the aspiring quality's in one and also the advancements they make has an individual and as a society in the right cases. Japanese civilizations and cultures are known to think of the Koi tattoo design as a representation of power, being of the strong and brave, and big on perseverance.

This design is known to symbolize love, spirituality and eternity.
