By Olga Statovoy

It’s not only you who gets to have birthdays. Even your dogs can! Best of all, he can eat the best special occasion cakes he can ever taste.

One of the great manners to let your dog think how much you are concerned about him is to create his own birthday. Invite the other pets right in your community, then get those awesome tasty treats for them. Especially the birthday cake.

Yet before you get so involved with the preparations, remember these:

See to it the cake is can really be eaten by your pet.

Unlike us who can consume almost everything, pups can’t. Imagine, it is mandatory the dog cake doesn’t possess any alcoholic beverage, macadamia nuts, or raw eggs. Your pooch may taste other dairy products as in butter, although they should be just minimum. Surely, you should not have anything that leads to allergic reactions.

Talk to your vet.

Your vet can actually help you in birthday cake prep. You can ask him what types of food will be great for your dog. Moreover, you can request hints on how to prepare birthday cakes for them.

Do not serve cat food.

A couple of owners mistakenly believe they can just provide cat food once there is no more dog food. It’s not right at all. Dogs are not permitted to consume cat food because of very high in protein and fat. Thus don’t go for cat birthday cake ingredients.

Choose a knowledgeable baker.

Few cake bakers today know how to create dog birthday cake. Just do a good research. Ask around. Maybe some friends have ordered from them. Further, you can visit the Internet and search such bakers within your area.

Order something for human guests too.

Surely you also have human guests on your pooch’s birthday. It is recommended to purchase something for pet owners too. You can request from the same cake designer to spend less. Take note, though: it’s notably significant these special occasion cakes don’t appear the same. You can’t put your and your dog’s health on the line.
