The typical built of an Aussie is medium-sized. Its coat is normally black, red or blue-merle and red. It has thick coats that could cause discomfort without proper grooming. Hence, the coat must be trimmed and groomed on a regular basis. This breed is also known to have gorgeous-looking eyes. It may be blue, amber, hazel or different shades of brown.
