How To Raise Puppies From Goldendoodle Breeders

By Etta Bowen

Being able to own pets is actually a privilege and this sort of responsibility should be taken seriously. It is quite the same with taking care of a young baby, and should be given the right amount of love and care for them. Dogs are really loyal to those who take care of them, and should be reciprocated as such by providing them with shelter, love, and food.

Many different breeds of dogs have their own personalities, average lifespans, tendencies of diseases, intelligence, etc. And there are instances where pure breeds of a golden retriever and a poodle are goldendoodle breeders Illinois for a mixed breed. These puppies are meant to be designer dogs which means they are meant to get the best traits from the two.

Having the opportunity to have pets deals with a lot of responsibilities by being alert, patient, and knowledgeable enough for each type of breed. This will in turn let them grow into amazing adult dogs. Everyone who has experienced owning dogs or pets in general would know of the hardships and many risks to have them at home. Ask yourself if you are ready for this.

Before you bring in a pup, you need to make sure to set up your home and yard as well. Take care of the furniture and other decorations that might break, snap, fall, or be a choking hazard. So basically, make the inside of your house puppy proof. This can be temporary, since the pup can be trained and not break stuff or chew on furniture when they grow.

Make sure you have all the stuff that you need for them. These would prove to be really helpful for you in the long run. What you need are chew toys, a crate, some dishes or maybe trays, beddings, and most importantly treats. In their early months, they would be quite a handful, so make sure to crate train them when sleeping at night.

In terms of their food, it should be taken from veterinary clinics or pet shops instead of groceries. The ones in the grocery would only have around twenty one percent of the protein and the rest are junk. The ones in clinics and shops have it higher by seven percent, which is about twenty eight.

Although there pet foods meant for young ones and adult ones, you should be able to get the ones that are actually meant for them since they are formulated with enough nutrients. They also are made so that they puppies would not have an upset stomach which happen when they take in adult foods. It regulates their stool as well, and catch them before it is too late.

The goldendoodle is an indoor pet, although this does not mean that you should lock them up for a long time inside the house. These pups are very energetic and they need to have an outlet to spend most of their energy, and at this stage they are teething as well. Which means, they will chew and bite anything and everything. Tell them with a firm no, and give them an alternative chew toy or treat.

Do not yell at them or even attempt at hitting them. This could cause more problems in their behaviour since they would be totally confused with your instructions. Rewarding them for the good things they have done is much better and be patient on their mistakes.
