Honoring a Cherished Pet : Alternatives to Disposal and Burial

By Sachin Kumar Airan

Pets are typically counted as a full member of many families : they're the daft clowns that cheer us up when we are downcast, our confidant and the keeper of our secrets, and the unswerving guardians who warn us when danger is near. They are companions to the forsaken and old and the best mate to several a kid. Sadly , though, our pets live much shorter lives than their human pals and when the time comes to say goodbye, it is so tough to make the decisions that really must be made with regard to the pet's physical remains.

In the past, many families have buried their valued dog or cat on the family property, but in many states, this is now illegal because of health and safety laws regarding the contamination of underground water. A funeral at a pet graveyard can be highly pricey, especially for an owner who is coping with the cost of their pet's final doctor's bills. However , there are now other alternatives, such as Passage urns and discount ash boxes that may permit any owner to scatter their pet's ashes safely and legally.

Passage urns are the ideal alternative to burying a deceased pet or permitting one's vet to release it to the local dump, which many owners cannot bear to understand. The urns make allowances for the safe and sanitary funeral of a pet's ashes after the body is cremated, allowing it to be buried at any location.

This choice is extraordinarily safe for the environment because once this urn is buried, it breaks down naturally and returns to the earth because of the fact it's made of organic and recyclable material. This way, pet owners can be assured that they're letting their dependable friends rest in the safest yet the most deferential way achievable. For owners who need to inter their dog or kitty on their property but are faced with local laws and regulations, this is a great alternative.

Since burial can be pricey and many owners are faced with the cost of final costs, including the cremation, which can cost anywhere from 100 to 200 bucks, dependent on the scale of the animal, looking into discount urns is also a choice. While these urns are cheap, they are also classy and unique, and in some places, owners can have their pet cremated and placed into the urn all for one price, which is very helpful for owners who are grieving hard and simply need their animal's final arrangements handled for them.

Discount urns come in all different sizes and styles, and plenty can be engraved with the pet's name for an extra charge. An owner's veterinarian may be able to suggest where to find these urns or they can search on the net, where many options are going to be available at a price that will suit anyone's budget. It isn't easy to say bye bye to a respected pet, but with Passage urns and discount urns, they can be buried with all the respect and love that they deserve.
