These types are mostly used to house small dogs because of its convenience to these small sized dogs.

* Make sure that you check the material of the kennel first. For easier maintenance, a plastic or a wooden type of kennel is best. So, choose the right type very carefully. * It is necessary to take into consideration the size of the kennel first. It should depend on the actual size of the dog to avoid discomfort. Right sized kennel will let the dog move freely as it stretches its body fully. * Proper ventilation should also be provided to let air come in and out of the kennel. * A space big enough to accommodate the extra supplies and accessories of your dog such as bed, food dish and water container.

Good quality and size of the kennel usually determine the cost of the kennel. Try to scout some dog kennels for sale around local stores. The internet also has information about retailers willing to provide you with the kennel of your choice.
