Energy-Filled Sporting Vizsla Puppies MO

By Sadie Wyatt

Vizsla puppies MO are adorable pups ready for families, with or without children. Individuals who want a jogging, rollerblading, biking or running partner should consider this Hungarian pointer import. These dogs are a bundle of energy if they do not have a purpose and a direction for their liveliness.

The Hungarian pointer is a tan colored pup and many of them end up as hunting or 'bird dogs' throughout the United States. They are great as hunting companions for all types of birds, but they will need training because, although they do have a natural instinct to point at something such as a bird, they may also charge it if not taught a command to 'leave it' or 'stay' by the hunter.

These dogs have a hunting instinct but many families purchase them for pets. They do make great pets if the family is an active one. This Hungarian pointer will do well at matching a child's energy for long periods of time but may be too much for a very young child.

This breed of dog is always eager to please his master. They are very trainable animals and this should be taken advantage of with a dog obedience course. Besides obedience, these pointers should be trained with plenty of distractions. Their high energy level will often take them 'off task' so they need training with distractions to help them focus better.

This type of pointer, much like the English Pointers and the German Short-haired Pointers, require an owner that possesses a strong personality. This dog's owner will need to establish herself as the leader of the pack - the dog's leader - from the time the dog arrives at her home. This is not permission to be mean to the dog, it is also not being forceful with him. The leader is in charge of the dog, the dog never leads his owner.

Vizsla puppies MO, USA are loving and affectionate dogs. They were bred in Hungary and their name means pointer. That doesn't mean they need to be a hunting dog, they do make excellent family pets. They will need a fairly large yard to exercise and play in, continued obedience training and an owner with a strong personality. Read more about: vizsla puppies MO
