Families who take home a dog from a breeder should train the dog. There are several ways to train dogs. When individuals potty train their dogs, they will teach them how to use a litter box, or outside. This dog does not care for snow, so the dog can use a litter box.

When people feed their dog, they should keep the formula that the breeder used. Switching to a new formula can create stomach problems. It is best if the owner mixes the two foods, until the dog weans completely off the old formula. The dog will get used to the new formula in slower increments.

People should train the dog how to sit, stay, lay down, and other basic commands. A lot of people will hold their toy dog often, so they are not properly trained. The dog needs to know who is the boss, and training it commands is a perfect way to establish that.

This dog is easy to keep clean. The dog can fit in a bathroom sink or a tub to clean their hair. Dogs should be washed and brushed once a month, which maintains a healthy coat.
