Cockapoo Puppies Are Adorable And Cute

By Janell Bowers

Hybrid cars and hybrid dogs seem to be fashionable. There are many cross bred dogs to choose from. If you are considering a poodle cross, one look at a litter of Cockapoo puppies will convert you for life. They are irresistible and make excellent pets. They bond with children and other dogs and are always up for anything.

Even though they have been bred for half a century or more, Cockapoos are still not recognized as a breed by most renowned Kennel Clubs. Since one parent should be an English or American Cocker Spaniel and the other a poodle, they are an inherent mix. Nowadays you can get Cockapoos bred from two Cockapoo parents and although that might be the way to establish the strain, a look at the various breeders' websites suggests that most puppies for sale are still from mixed parents.

However they do need lots of exercise. Laziness is not to be encouraged if you want your canine buddy to have a long and active life. And that is something you can enjoy together. A garden will help, but otherwise you will have to hit the road and do not forget your pooper scooper.

All puppies are great fun and will give you hours of pleasure with their comic antics. These bright little buttons are smart too and will keep you on your toes just trying to stay one jump ahead of them. Training needs to start as early as possible so that they learn that there are limits even for Cockapoos.

Poodles and poodle mixes are noted for not shedding fur or hair like other dogs. This makes them ideal pets for people with allergies to fur and dander. Some say poodles actually have wool but that is another debate. A Cockapoo's coat can be more like one parent or the other so if you want a hypoallergenic dog look closely before choosing your pup and see which it most resembles.

You can get a pup in a variety of colors. This is ideal for those wanting a designer dog. You can get black or white or a combination of both as well as every shade of brown. Then there are Cockapoos in shades of red like auburn, amber and apricot. If you want something more unusual you can look for a blue roan or a silver puppy. In look too they differ again depending on which parent they favor though floppy ears are inevitable.

Sadly like people, dogs and even puppies can get sick and need veterinarian help. This can be expensive. If you are a first time owner, you must take this cost factor into account. Insurance may be worth considering. Never buy a puppy without seeing it, preferably its parents and getting a veterinary certificate. Ask advice about diet and grooming if you are unsure.

Cockapoo puppies are really adorable and will turn anyone into a dog lover overnight. However getting a any puppy is a long term commitment, at least 15 years, so do think about it seriously. It takes time and patience to rear a little dog but it will be worth it in the end.
