Cleaning Your Pet Before a Show with the Finest Pet Bathing Supplies

By Eugene Walsh

A number of us have heard of stories in which any owner's pet can roam free with his or her human chum, dash around and through the fields, and in the next day before the big meet they can go under some of the best dog cleaning equipment, and then go on to win best in show in the entire show. Unfortunately, that is not our reality. Even if you have an active dog and take good care of them, you aren't going to get a blue ribbon or shinytrophy if you don't take care of them# to make sure that they are in prettiest shape. Because of this, here are some tips on how to make your dog look great at the event for judging, from pet bathing supplies to keeping things in line.

First off, you as a owner will have to perform the difficult task of picking up every debris stuck in his coat and fur. It is a difficult chore to do but it is important when your dog is being looked at by the judges. Thus, it will be very rewarding. Any canine friend that has pieces of dirty won't likely be eliminated early, let alone advance onto the Best in Show ring. So keep an eye out and break out the pet washing supplies if you think it is necessary

When you comes to dog cleaning equipment, don't think you can win with just a squeeze of shampoo, a towel, a flea comb, and some cheap nail clippers as your only grooming equipment. Since this is a serious event, you should need some serious dog cleaning equipment. You need things like a nail file, a soft yet firm grooming comb, a pair of whisker clippers, professional thinning shears, and a pair of straight-bladed scissors (for long hair dogs). Some other things to buy would be hair/fur dryer and also some grooming rakes of various sizes, the same also for scissors.

Before the dog event, you should offer them a good bath. So break out your best pet bathing supplies and go at it. Like any great show dog caretaker, you should keep a variety of shampoos and conditioners with you to comply with the needs of their coat on that given day. Every part counts to the eyes of the staff, so it is best you be assured that they look their finest.

Finally, let's talk about flaws. A number of breeds are permitted to have coat imperfections. Terriers and various hounds and sporting dogs, are given the okay on having "honorable wounds" and scars. However this is only acceptable to a small number. You best keep yours in great condition and give them the love and needs as well as the best pet bathing supplies they should demand for.
