A Simple Recipe For Pupcakes

By Jill Faulkner

Dog lovers are known to always spoil their dogs because they believe that their pets should get the same treatment as humans. That is why, it is very common nowadays to see sweets and treats made specially for dogs. Among these treats, the most popular ones are the pupcakes or puppy dog cupcakes. For those who do not know about this wonderful treat, here is a recipe.

The ingredients are actually very easy to get and the treat itself is not difficult to make. Basically, all one would need are a few carrots, one cup of flour, a couple of eggs, some oil, and of course one tablespoon of baking soda. Of course one may add more things just to add more flavor and design but that will come in the later part.

The first thing to do would be make sure that the carrots is clean by washing them really well under the faucet. Once that is done, peel the skin and continue to wash the carrots just to be safe. Then shred them into small pieces and pour them into a small cup which will be used for later.

Now, grab a small bowl, put in the eggs, the oil, the flour, and the baking soda and mix it all up. Once that is done, dump in the bunch of carrots while continuing to stir the mix thoroughly. At this point, it is possible for one to add other things into the mix for more taste. Some suggested flavorings may be peanut butter, cinnamon, or probably vanilla extracts.

Once the whole thing has been mixed into a creamy state, get a few cupcake tins and pour the batter inside. Always take note not to make the tin one hundred percent full otherwise it will expand too much. Once they are all at most half full, put them in a small tray and pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for fifteen minutes.

While waiting for it to heat up, it is time to do the frosting of the small puppy cupcake. First, get some cream cheese and let it melt a little bit so that it is not so hard. After that, stir the cream cheese in a small bowl until it becomes smooth and creamy. Then, mix in some honey or some sugar to give it a sweet texture.

Once the frosting is finished, it is time to get the tray out of the oven and cool down the cupcakes. Wait for a few minutes until it is cool and rather formed, put the frosting all over the top of the cupcake. One may even be creative and make up some frosting designs for his cupcakes so that he can satisfy his need to be artistic.

So basically, that is how to make pupcakes for dogs. Now one may more creative and add some sprinkles on the top to give it a twist. He may also spread more peanut butter or even chocolate on the top of the cupcake so that he can give it an extra flavoring.
