Finding The Best Goldendoodle Breeder Will Lead To The Perfect Dog

By Rosella Campbell

If you are interested in finding a great house pet that will fit perfectly in with your family, you should consider contacting a local breeder who has goldendoodles. These magnificent dogs have the perfect temperament and are typically long lived, making them ideal companions for any family unit. Once a goldendoodle breeder provides you with a new pet for your household, it will be easy for you to make new memories with your family for many years to come.

As a fancier designer breed, Goldendoodles are certainly a marvel to look at. Though in truth, they are merely hybrids of the golden retriever and standard poodle, they are certainly recognized and revered today. Once bred, this animal possesses the body type common to retrievers and the fuzz and curls of a poodle.

One of the reasons people choose goldendoodles as house pets is because they typically do not have a lot of the health problems associated with inbreeding from older purebred lines. Since these dogs are a combination of two other pure bred animals, the chances of inbreeding taking place are slim to none. This means that problems like hip dysplasia, arthritis, cancer, and other canine illnesses are kept to a minimum.

Thanks to the lack of inbreeding, you can also count on your dog living a much longer life. Because diseases are essentially kept at a minimum from no inbreeding, your dog will live longer and be more active. In fact, these hybrid canines can sometimes live in excess of fifteen years without major issues.

The temperament of goldendoodles is yet another reason why they are making their way into more and more homes. The retriever in them keeps them loyal to their families and extremely friendly while the poodle side of them gives them energy and vigor. Your dog will not only be a loveable family pet, but quite the character as well.

If you have allergies, then there are no dogs better to choose than goldendoodles. Despite being half retriever, they retain all of the hypoallergenic properties of the poodle. Except for the most extreme cases of allergies, you will not have to worry about sneezing or sniffling around your dog.

If you want an animal that you do not want to be constantly cleaning up after, these dogs are also a great choice. In addition to being extremely well behaved, these animals also do not shed. This attribute which is retained from the poodle will allow your clothing, furniture, and car to be hair free. All you have to do is make sure that you take your companion to the groomers every now and again so that you can keep the fur from getting dirty or matted.

Before you settle on a particular breeder, look around and research so that your choice is a responsible one. You can bet there are reputable breeders operating in your area. Choosing wisely is how you will ultimately wind up with a healthy pup that will grow into a healthy dog that bonds with your family.
