Dogs show that they are under pressure by barking, digging, chewing and destroying things. It is said that you can make your dog normal and a part of the family to make it more happy and less influenced by wierd manners including unwelcome barking.

Excessive Barking

It has been part of our culture to keep pet dogs in fenced yards particularly during the daytime while the whole family is at work or college. This is the time when almost all of excessive barking issues take place. Dogs can get agitated by noises and the presence of people and animals nearby.

The bored dog without anything to do also join in recreational barking to use the time. Sometimes, owners incidentally brace the barking by giving the dog negative or positive attention when it barks without letup. The best thing to do is to avoid screaming, scolding, playing or touching your pet. Desist from bringing it inside the house since the animal will translate it as a form of re-strengthening.

Incorrect strengthening will only act to irritate the situation. Instead , do it the right way.

The correct way of rewarding your dog is also a case of timing. You can do it by a slap on the head or giving a treat like or toy after it stops barking. This will teach the dog to associate the reward with its silence and not the unjustifiable barking.

Perhaps, this is the time to orient the dog with the anti barking device when everything has settled down.

Punishment will never be valuable in resolving and correcting barking problems. Avoid hitting or slapping your dog's mouth to stop it from barking. This may only teach your dog to be afraid of you, reinforce fretfulness and make the issue worse. For punishment to be successful, barking must be stopped from the time the dog starts by utilizing a technique or gizmo which effectively interrupts the barking. This is the anti-barking machine.
