Remember to brush your teeth not lesser than 2 minutes equally dividing it to all areas of your gums and teeth. Yes! This also includes your gums and tongue as well.

One more thing you can do to protect yourself from gingivitis is flossing. You need to make it a habit to floss in between each tooth. Make it until all the way down the very edge and into your gum line. The idea of flossing is to be able to clear away any plaques that are between your teeth. Plaques left in between teeth eventually it will become tartars and are harder to get rid of. So before it turns to a tartar make sure you remove your plaques through flossing. Washing your mouth by using mouth wash is also another useful idea. Rinsing with mouth rinse can in fact help keep down the amount of microbes and unhealthy bacteria in your mouth.
