Chew your food thoroughly: Chewing the food more gives the digestive system less stress when digesting the food. Improperly chewed food sets a stage for stomach upset and gas production. As the food takes more time in the digestive track, more gas is being produced. This further leads to flatulence, stomach ache and upsets. This can be very stressful if you are on a busy schedule.

Your food needs full attention: When it's time to eat, avoid doing other things such as talking, reading a book or working. You may want to complete a task as you eat; please don't for the sack of a healthy system. Multitasking when eating will potentially lead you to not chew your food more setting a stage for stomach ache and upsets.
