Usual Child Abuse Survivor Stories

By Kristen Waller

Child abuse is caused by a lot of factors. This is the reason why pinpointing a few causes is not easy. According to the child abuse survivor stories, however, there are some issues that are prominent such as anger management problems, alcohol or drug misuse, past of history violation, mental illness, and stress.

However, individuals should keep in mind that the cause is not similar to the excuse for it. The abuser, however, is still liable even if the causes of this kind of behavior are determined. This kind of behavior is commonly caused by stress. Individuals are more likely to behave in unacceptable ways if they are under a good deal of stress.

Although some individuals employ support program or working capabilities to avoid destructive other individuals, hurting others regularly happens for those who are forced out. For example, a mother or dad may offend a kid if one is far too forced. This is because one can no more limit his or her level of disappointment. Moreover, a forced out mom or dad may engage in the same thing if his or her kid won't stop crying and trigger him to do so.

Psychological sickness is another probable reason. Most people who are psychologically ill are not equipped with or have little capability to respond effectively and think reasonably about everyday circumstances. A kid might be breached by a psychologically ill personal since he or she is not able to clearly think due to a show of psychosis or depressive disorders.

Limited consideration of reality will also take place. One form of emotional illness is called postpartum depression. Sometimes, this causes a mom to neglect her kid. Although countless of kid neglect patients do not prefer to undergo the same agonizing activities. This is not ideal to all past patients. The sad factor is that a few children are breached by a few adults who were upset when they were still the same age.

Majority of the time, the cycle is repeated without any intention. As a matter of fact, some cannot stop because they feel helpless. However, there are also cases when former victims of this kind of behavior become abusers because they find it difficult to control other emotions and anger.

One of its major causes is alcohol or drug misuse. Majority of the individuals who misuse alcohol and drugs completely have different behaviors compared to when they are sober. There are those who become verbally abusive, while others become violent. There are times when an individual who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs does not physically violate a kid, but he or she may neglect the needs of the kid.

The results of this kind of behavior are more than just the visible injuries. Child abuse survivor stories stated that this can also be in the form of physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and neglect. It cannot be denied that all these will have long-term psychological effects on children who are victims of this kind of behavior.
