Pets are kept at home for a lot of reasons. People love having them around for entertainment or leisure. Others find it relaxing to have animals around. There are also those who want to have animals in their house so that they'd have something to take care of or to divert their attention from the daily stresses.
All sorts of animals can now be domesticated. Some have unusual ones like pigs while others have wild ones like snakes. But a dog is still one of the favorites. Many people still consider pooches as their favorite animals. And they have loads of reasons why they just can't help but say I love dogs:

Yet you still have to think well before deciding to get dogs. Maintenance is at the average level where you have to take them to the vet, bathe them, groom and feed them. But there are also some breeds that are really low maintenance. So before getting one, try to think if it would really suit you and your lifestyle.
