Pink Leather Dog Collars Are Designed For The Best Pups

By Kerri Turner

It has been said that the best dogs are known for donning their pink leather dog collars. They make a powerful statement of sorts. It is one that says she is only tough on the outside but totally sweet on the inside. Big pups to little tykes with a ferocious bark can sport the playful color that nabs attention everywhere she goes.

It does not matter if the dog at your heels is a Poodle, a Pit Bull, or a massive Bull Mastiff, pink is a calming color that can soften the edges of a rougher than typical look. Her public perception can be changed dramatically by giving her a rose colored collar and a sweet name.

Your male dog is just as able to be drafted for cuteness if you are not concerned with mistaken gender identification. If people in the park call him a her, he is not one to really care. Every guy knows that in today's world this is no longer a color just for girls.

The placement of a collar around his or her neck is a symbol of relationship between the two of you. Most dogs prefer that their people never take it off. When a beloved canine companion takes his turn to go over the Rainbow Bridge, most families keep the collar as a symbol of that relationship. When you see one around a wandering dog's neck you know she owns a human somewhere.

Of course, an argument can be made that this reaction is purely a reaction to the idea that a bath is about to begin. Yet, there are many stories of rescue dogs coming out of shelters and showing joyful expression when the shelter collar is removed and their new human places a well selected collar around their neck. This joyful expression has been noted by many different rescue groups and individuals over decades.

Small dogs look great with a studded look while larger dogs can do very well in textured pieces. Getting several different ones to match with the mood of the day is no different than choosing which sweater might be most appropriate. You may decide that a little "bling" for a Tuesday is a great set up for softer roses or designer wear on Thursday. It is always good to have at least one or two extra on hand.

Having at least one spare on hand is a good idea. This is especially true of you happen to have a chewer amongst the group. Only a handful of chewers will figure out how to get to the one that is around their own neck. Most will aim for one that hangs around another neck in the family. Since the leather is tougher and harder to cut through than a nylon version you will have time to interrupt the behavior and redirect it before the damage is done.

Any kind of inspiration you want you can find with pink leather dog collars. With all sizes, shades, and designer looks you and your companion can have a great time picking out the perfect look. All you need to add is a personalized tag and you and your pup will be the best looking duo at the park. Any time you walk down the street you will certainly be noticed, smiling away like the wonderful team you really are.
