Reminiscing About Your Wedding Day

By Abigail Reynolds

The biggest occasion you might ever be in is your own wedding. And that is why it is so important to work with a professional and plan carefully for your photographic coverage. Photographs and wedding portraits will be the things that will help you remember the day.

It is better to have a head start on your wedding pictures and planning them ahead of time. Photographs are mostly busy during the peak bridal months of May, June, August or December so make sure to book early. You will want to conduct a session with your photographer so that you will know what you kind of photo coverage they can give you. It is important to always inform the photographer of the pictures you want him to get.

So as to have something to refer to it is best to look at the previous wedding photographs the photographer has done. A complete coverage is best for weddings since there are some moments that will only happen here. With that you are assured that there are photos and portraits of everything that went on before, during and after your wedding.

There are rules that the church has when it comes to wedding ceremonies and photographers are all use to this. In order to preserve the true essence of the ceremony normally pictures are just taken during the end of it. While still on the planning stages of your wedding photography think about the photographic needs that are important in your wedding. Usually aside from your own pictures you will want to get extra copies and smaller versions for your family and friends. It would also be nice if you had larger copies so that you can hang them in your house.

Most couples will prefer the colored photos but some will want to get black and whites as well. According to a check one photographer got, paying about $200 is enough for wedding photos. Aside from the usually 100 the photographer will take he will also include the following photos.

In taking pictures it start when the preparations are being done in the bride's house. Likewise, capturing the attendant placing the garter on the bride and a final shot of everyone is taken. With the groom and the best man being photographed in a playful mood will add more life to the set. Also, the bride and her father will be captured walking down the aisle. Another shot will be dedicated to the groom and the best man entering the church.

Right after the service, photos of the relatives and friends greeting the bridal party in the receiving line followed by formal pictures of the wedding party, parents and grandparents with the newlyweds will be taken. The photo of the bride and groom together in the chancel area of the church will be taken once the group shots are through. More memories will be captured forever when you have the right number of photos for your wedding.
