Top Three Pets for Pet Owners

By Peter Fred Smith

Many people are not so quick to bring a pet home because they often require more attention than people are willing to give. It is a big job that not everyone is up to doing.

A pet makes certain demands on your time and resources and there is no way to avoid it if you don't want to neglect your pet. And that is not to mention times that the unexpected happens.

On top of the fact that you will be devoting time to your pet, you will also be spending money on it. So consider how much you have in your budget for these additional expenses.

The time and money that will be required is really dependent on the pet that you choose. A rabbit needs less than a dog and a cat is somewhere in the middle.

When you decide which route you want to take, you should know what you can handle and what you can't. When you figure out the issues, you should choose between one of the three.

Dogs provide a lot of warmth to the owners and they can be trained to do tricks and other things that will entertain and help you. But they can be expensive to purchase and maintain.

A cat is not as friendly usually as a dog but is easier to handle and take care of. You might find once in a while that they are friendly but either way, not usually like a dog.

A rabbit is probably the least demanding of the three. However, they are very cute and definitely need some attention but not quite as much.

At the end of the day, you are the one that has to decide what will work for you. With these things in mind you will be able to come to a more informed decision and one that you will be happy with in the long run.
